Call Recording & Transcription

While call summarizes give you the details of each call, sometimes you want to listen to or read the the call transcript verbatim. For those scenarios, Smith.ai offers call recording, transcription, and search of your call transcripts.



Accessing Call Recordings and Transcripts

  • Call recordings & transcripts are available in the Call Details view of any call from within your dashboard.
  • Conveniently, links to each summary and transcript are provided at the bottom of every call summary.

Listening to Recordings

Above the call summary, you can use the audio player to listen to the call. 




Downloading Recordings

Recordings are only kept in the Smith.ai system for 90 days. Therefore, if you need to store it for longer, you can download it using the "download" button to the right of the volume control in the interface:




Reading the Transcript 

To read the transcript of the call, click the Read the Transcript link. A new window will pop up with the full transcript of the call. 




Recording & Transcript Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are only kept on the Smith.ai system for 90 days.
