AI Receptionist offers payment collection for service bookings, allowing you to collect a deposit or appointment fee from each caller prior to confirming their booking. Whether payment is required or requested, it's easy to set this up in your AI Receptionist dashboard — all you need to get started is a scheduling link with an embedded payment collection form.

How to Set Up Payment Collection for Bookings with AI Receptionist

  1. Confirm that your scheduling form includes secure, embedded fields for payment collection
  2. Copy the link to your scheduling form/calendar
  3. Login to your AI Receptionist dashboard and navigate to the Instructions tab
  4. Find the caller type playbook you want to enable payment collection for and click Configure


  5. Scroll down to Call action and select Schedule an appointment
  6. In the Choose service for scheduling dropdown menu, select Any public calendar link
  7. Paste your scheduling calendar/form link into the Booking form link field

  8. Click Save to put your changes into effect immediately
