How to Enable Scheduling with Housecall Pro

With our Housecall Pro integration, your AI Receptionist can schedule appointments directly into your Housecall Pro account, without the need to involve a live agent. Follow these steps to enable AI Receptionist scheduling with your Housecall Pro link.

 

Connecting your Housecall Pro account

To begin, ensure that your Housecall Pro integration has been successfully connected by following these steps
Once the integration is connected, you should see confirmation on the Integrations page within your AI Receptionist Dashboard


How to enable scheduling with Housecall Pro 

After connecting your Housecall Pro account, you’ll need to update your call handling instructions, so AI Receptionist knows when and how to schedule appointments using your Housecall Pro link.


Navigate to the Instructions tab.


  1. Select the relevant Caller Type playbook (e.g., new leads, existing clients).
  2. Scroll to the What should we do next section of the playbook.
  3. Choose Schedule an appointment.
  4. In the Choose service for scheduling dropdown, select Housecall Pro.
  5. Add the public link for your Housecall Pro booking page. (This can be found by visiting the Booking Page in the settings of your Housecall Pro account.)
  6. When done, click Save. Changes will go live immediately.




Once you’ve completed the last step, you'll see a confirmation that the instructions have been updated. 


Note: All appointments will be booked for a fixed duration of 2 hours with the next available employee.
